Natural Dishwasher Tablets

Equipment

Ice cub tray or small silicone mold - I prefer silicone because the tablets are easier to remove from the mold.

Ingredients

1 cup baking soda
1/4 cup citric acid
2 Tbsp Dr Bronners liquid Castile soap any scent you want

Instructions

In a small bowl mix together the baking soda and citric acid. Then add in 1-2 tablespoons of the Dr Bronner Castile Liquid Soap. Mix together until the mixture is lightly moist and can be packed together.
Firmly press into your ice cube tray or small silicone mold. You can use any shape mold, but make sure the shape fits into your dishwasher soap dispenser.
Let the tablets dry in the mold for 2-3 days on the countertop. Then when fully dry store in an airtight container.

Notes

If your tablets puff up while they are drying, they are totally fine and still usable, it just means there is too much liquid in the tablets.

It is very important to be sure that your tablets are completely dry before storing them in a container or they will stick together and be very hard to get apart.
